You must be a champion for the end-user experience and a team player comfortable with taking ownership of your work.  You'll be involved throughout the entire project lifecycle - from strategy, research, and experience ideation all the way through to solutions architecture and guiding the development and design teams in UX best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Working on projects with varied budgets - so flexibility and a range of delivery approaches and skills are required
  • Creating UX concepts, site maps, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes that meet user needs, so utilizing best practices, research, testing & analytics to inform your decisions is key
  • Leading and participating in generative and evaluative user research activities
  • Developing user profiles/personas, scenarios, and user journeys in collaboration with project team members, as well as defining the functional requirements of your work
  • Maintaining and enhancing the experience design aspects of existing and ongoing projects

  • Work closely with visual designers, front-end specialists and technologists to refine and realize design solutions
  • Contribute to and support fast-paced Business Development efforts, often alongside active projects
  • Demonstrate professional demeanour, effective time management, expectation setting and communication
  • Present your work professionally and effectively, to a variety of audiences, and facilitate discussion and input
  • Obtain formal review and approval from senior members of the team
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and mentor junior team members to develop their skill
