VP, Managing Director, Halifax
Malcolm has been a digital leader in Canada over the last 20 years, and has earned recognition and awards for innovation, management and community leadership. He has spent his career assisting his clients’ leadership teams in understanding how to leverage digital technology to achieve competitive advantage. At FCV, he helps to fuel our momentum and success in Atlantic Canada by building and managing long-standing client partnerships and fostering our local team of talent.
Before FCV, Malcolm founded and managed MODE (formally ISL), one of Halifax’s leading digital consultancies, acquired by FCV in 2016. He successfully evolved MODE’s offerings and grew his integrated team over two decades, providing strategic and digital services to a multitude of public and private sector clients – including Clearwater Seafoods, Stanfield’s, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Nova Scotia Power, and Tourism Nova Scotia. Focused on Travel and Tourism, he is currently the Chair of the Research Committee for Destination Canada and also speaks at national destination marketing conferences where he shares his expertise and data-driven perspectives on the latest tourism trends. Exceptionally active in both business and the Atlantic community, Malcolm currently serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, and sits on both the Board of the Dalhousie Medical Research Foundation and the Board of the Sobey Art Foundation.
Malcolm holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Marketing and Economics) from Mount Allison University.
