VANCOUVER, BC –The City of Vancouver yesterday recognized FCV Interactive with an Award of Excellence for Business Innovation for the contribution the digital agency’s work has made to the city. The award celebrates a wide range of projects that together, make Vancouver a greener, healthier, more diverse, accessible, and prosperous city.
FCV’s work for TransLink helps nearly 35,000 people plan their trips around the city every month. Their Change HIVstory campaign contributed to a significant increase in HIV testing in the lower mainland. The results of their work with the Government of British Columbia can be felt not just in Vancouver, but across the province, with WorkBC.ca bringing Job Seekers and Employers together with over 400 jobs posted daily. Meanwhile, multiple projects for Destination British Columbia help to attract over 9m visitors every year.
“Our goal is to help public organizations keep the pace of innovation seen in the private sector,” say Johann Starke, FCV’s President & CEO. “We’re thrilled with this award and to see the positive impact our digital platforms have had on the lives of Vancouver and BC citizens.”
