VANCOUVER, BC – FCV Interactive continues to strengthen its team with the promotion of VP Client Services, Derek Whyte, to Chief Operating Officer, a new position. Derek has been working with FCV as part of its leadership team since 2007 and will lead FCV’s strategic operational efforts across all of its offices, reporting directly to Johann Starke, President & CEO.
Starke said Whyte, previously VP Client Services for FCV, will retain those responsibilities for the time being.
Prior to joining FCV, Derek was a Project Manager for Blast Radius. Previous to joining Blast Radius, Derek worked for Stockgroup in various positions. Derek has successfully delivered large-scale digital projects for brands including the Canadian Tourism Commission, Electronic Arts, Nike, Sun Life Financial, TELUS and TransLink.
“It’s the right time to expand our management structure given our size as an independent agency.” says Starke. “Derek’s promotion will assist me in delivering on FCV’s strategic direction and his wealth of experience bolsters our service offering as we expand into additional markets in Canada and the U.S.”
